There I am. Hungry. Inspired. Determined to make a “simple” banana bread.
I type it in. Click the first result.
"This recipe has been in my family for five generations, starting with my great-grandmother Hilda, who first made it during the Great Depression while..."
Fifteen minutes later, I know more about Hilda’s pantry than my own.
All I wanted was banana bread.
If you've ever found yourself rage-scrolling past 40 paragraphs just to get to the ingredient list, welcome. You are not alone.
So,I hacked the system.
First, I used to draw recipes in my sketchbook — little doodles of flour, arrows, eggs. I liked seeing the whole process on one page. But now?
I’ve got AI in my corner.
Why I Doodled My Way to Deliciousness
Being a visual person, scrolling through a list of ingredients and cooking steps felt like trying to read a novel in a foreign language—confusing and a bit painful! Seriously, it was like hunting for treasure without a map. So, I thought, "Why not turn my recipes into a comic strip?" Now, instead of a boring old list, I can feast my eyes on colourful illustrations that make cooking feel like a fun adventure!

Game Changer Moment
So I've decided to speed up the process and make my life a little bit easier and asked ChatGBT:
Create an illustrated step by step recipe guide for the following recipe of Zapekanka: 3 bananas, 450g of the polish curd cheese, 1 egg and 2 table spoons of the rice flour. Grate bananas and then mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Put in the casserole dish and bake in the oven for 40 minutes at temperature of 170 degrees celsius . After few rounds and perfecting my promts I've got the final result:

Why This Works for Me (and Might for You)
I don’t have to scroll
I get to see the recipe
I can print it, stick it on my fridge,
It makes cooking more fun (and less rage-scroll-y)
